QuickScan does not require an account, does not upload your scans or generated QR codes to any server, and does not sell your data.
2. Data We Collect
Minimal collectionWe collect only what is necessary to operate and improve the app:
- Camera access — used exclusively to scan QR codes and barcodes. Images are processed on-device and never transmitted.

- Scan & generate history — stored locally on your device only. You can delete it at any time from the History screen.
- App preferences — theme, language, and scanner settings stored locally via SharedPreferences.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) — anonymized crash data to help us fix bugs. Contains no scan content.
